Line the floats up
A balance you will not write down still charges you. Make one row per balance: who you owe, the amount, the interest price if you know it, and the minimum they asked for this month. If you do not know the interest, write 'ask' instead of guessing a flattering number.
Include the awkward rows: family, buy-now pay-later, the tax you meant to handle, the friend you are avoiding. A parade that hides a float will be surprised by it at the corner. This page is private. It does not need to be pretty.
A pretend example. Pretend Jules listed four rows: a card at 1,200, a store plan at 260, a family IOU at 400 with no interest, and a phone balance at 90. The minimums together were 95. Seeing 95 next to the rows stopped the argument about 'being bad with money' and started an argument about order.
Try this. Write every balance as a row, including the one you like least.
